Jeremiah Johnson is a partner in the Southern California office of Cole Huber LLP and a resident of the Coachella Valley. He is a litigator, focusing his practice as a trial attorney and representing cities by providing advisory services to their police departments on a variety of matters, including police civil rights defense and government tort defense. Prior to joining the firm, Jeremiah was a Deputy District Attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office Eastern Division (Indio Branch) and a Deputy City Attorney at the City of Riverside in the Public Safety Division providing advisory services to the Riverside Police Department as well as defending the city and its police force in civil rights cases. He has completed more than 55 jury trials to verdict.
Education and Admissions
Jeremiah graduated from the University of California Davis and Santa Clara University School of Law, where he focused his studies on trial advocacy as a member of the Santal Clara University trial team and public safety through clerkships at the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office and the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. Central District Court of California.
