Practice Summary

Mathew Walker is a partner in the Ontario office of Cole & Huber LLP. His primary focus is general  liability and public entity defense.  He has been representing both public and private clients since 2003.

He specializes in all areas of civil litigation defense, including complex litigation, general liability, property casualty litigation and premises liability defending claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and paralysis. Mr. Walker has handled numerous cases by way of Mediation, Arbitration and Trial. As a result of successfully minimizing risk and exposure for his clients in a myriad of complex litigation cases, representing contractors in commercial and residential construction defect litigation, he has become an expert  regarding claims involving breach of contract, express indemnity, and various other tort claims.  Intertwined with general liability defense, Mr. Walker also represented numerous entertainers, promoters, and production companies in litigation stemming from claims involving live music and festivals, motorsports racing, and television, film and event production.

Prior to joining Cole Huber, Mathew was a partner in the San Bernardino office of  Lewis Brisbois and a member of the nationwide General Liability and Construction practices.  Mr. Walker is experienced in handling the following matters:
